How can we support your child?
If your child is involved in a violent incident, in the first instance, a professional will complete a referral form with some details about your child. The professional could either be based in a hospital A&E or in a community organisation.
The referral form is sent to one of our Navigators who will then meet with your child to offer them support and signpost to relevant services that can help.
The Navigator will either meet with them at the hospital, at their home or in the community. The Navigator’s utilise a family-centred approach when supporting a young person.
Once areas of support are identified, the Navigator is able to refer young people into partnership organisations that can help with issues as housing, education/training/employment (ETE), and mental health.
Additional Support For Your Child
